If you need to travel by vehicle there is Yonge Street & Bayview Avenues to head to, and then you can take either Highway 7 or Highway 407 to Highway 404 to the East or to Highway 400 to the West. There are also many parks close by including the one behind Blessed Pope John Paul II Elementary School which has 2 soccer fields, and a full playground for the kids, as well as the park at Bantry Avenue & Bayview Avenue which has 2 baseball diamonds and 4 tennis courts. The local libraries include Richvale Library on the West side of Yonge Street, and the Richmond Hill Main Branch located at Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie. There are also great community facilities including Elvis Stojko Arena, Richvale Community Centre, and The Wave Pool. The grounds at the Richvale Community Centre include a skate park, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, walking trails, pool and much more. The area has many retail options including Hillcrest Mall which will be anchored by the new Target opening soon, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Bay, Panera Bakery, and many other well known stores. Across the street from Hillcrest Mall is a retail plaza which features No Frills & Future Shop. Along Highway 7 are many retail options including Superstore, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Staples, Home Depot, & Best Buy. There are too many options, and you do not have to go far. The area is home to many singles, first time home buyers, as well as small and large families alike, making this a destination for so many different people. Everyone will appreciate the area.
